Interview with Jules Clark

This week we talk to our favourite Aussie and much-loved Hostess, Jules Clark on life inside and outside of Tigerlily.
How long have you worked at Tigerlily?
I’ve been here for 10 years, since the day the doors opened.
Describe an average day for you in Tigerlily?
There is no such thing as an average day in this industry but my job is to meet and greet new guests and welcome in our regulars.  You never know who will be walking through that door. From Ewan McGregor to George Clooney we have had them all.
What is about your job that keeps you motivated?
I genuinely love working at Tigerlily, and I’m passionate about people. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know everyone a little better.
What is it about Tigerlily that you love?
I am lucky to get to come into a gorgeous place every day, with no pretence or intimidations. Plus I’m lucky enough to work with great people.
Beyond Tigerlily, where else do you eat and drink?
I love South Queensferry, it’s so peaceful and the views are incredible. Orocco Pier is one of my favourite places to relax.
If you could visit any boutique hotel, where would it be and why?
Somewhere in the Indian Ocean. Crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and great food - what more could you ask for?
What would be your three desert island necessities?
Chocolate, great friends and music.
What is your favourite memory of Tigerlily?
Definitely my hug with George Clooney!
