Full Time Receptionist
You will be an integral and key member of the team. You will understand the huge importance of first impressions. You will be expected to manage the reservation systems, be able to coordinate all telephone, written and emailed enquiries and to relay all required information to management, housekeeping and restaurant staff.
The perfect candidate for this role will be fluent in English and have a minimum of one years experience working on a busy hotel reception. You will have at least worked within a 4 star hotel or boutique style environment.
In order to be considered for this role you must:
Have experience in a similar role within a high volume restaurant or busy boutique hotel
Be efficient, well organised and impeccably presented
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Demonstrate great attention to detail
Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Have an excellent telephone manner and command of spoken and written English
Have competent IT knowledge
Have a flexible approach and ability to multi task
Experience with computerised reservations systems, Opera and Restaurant Diary would be advantageous.

Pastry Chef
This award-winning boutique hotel set in the heart of Edinburgh’s most fashionable shopping area and just minutes from the financial district is currently looking for a full time Pastry Chef.
With 33 chic hotel rooms, a 200 cover restaurant, and 2 cocktail bars this role requires someone who has a minimum of 3 years experience working within a busy hotel/restaurant kitchen. Relevant SVQ’s would be advantageous. Working alongside a team of 16 chefs you will be fluent in English, enthusiastic and a strong team player.
The ideal chef will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a busy/high demanding restaurant. You will have high communication skills as you will need to integrate with the rest of the kitchen team in order to provide top customer service at all times. You will have well rounded pastry skills – a la carte, bakery management, afternoon tea, chocolate and sugar work.

Previous experience is essential and candidates will need to be able to maintain consistently high standards and cope within a high pressured restaurant and bar environment. Candidates must be enthusiastic, felixible, fluent in written and spoken English, well presented and committed.

Mixologist vacancy
Tigerlily the award winning boutique hotel, restaurant and bar which has been the flagship business of the Montpelier group for the past six years is undergoing a substantial aesthetic redevelopment. Part of this redevelopment involves reviewing and improving our bar and cocktail offer. Therefore we are now recruiting for talented mixologists who are passionate about cocktail making, delivering excellent service with flair and theatre. As part of the role you will be expected to manage a section within the bar ensuring all standards are met with attention to detail, creating memories the guest will cherish. While exceeding our customer's expectations in both service and cocktail quality we also expect alcohol to be served with responsibility.
Experience in a similar quality bar is essential and service with a smile and personality is a must.
